Designed for compact environments such as bank front offices or small branches, the CS 470 and CS 480 countertop check scanners provide a full set of features at a reasonable price. Both scanners feature a traditional edge-on U-shaped transport to capture both sides of the check in bitonal, gray or color with E13B, CMC-7 and CMC-0 magnetic ink MICR readers. The CS 470 is a single feed device which is ideal for individual items or occasional scans, while the CS 480 features a multi-check feeder for small batches.
The scanners come complete with VisionShape's TWAIN or ISIS drivers, allowing most standard image capture solutions to scan checks while reading the MICR line. The high quality image can be output as standard Tiff group/4 or JPEG, per Check 21 specifications.
For those requiring a complete capture solution, VisionShape's AutoScan Capture is easy to set-up and run batch scanning applications. You can also easily link these scanners over the Internet via your browser by using VisionShape's Tiffsurfer software to manage the CS scanners.
