Whatever check scanning needs you may have, the CS 500 will deliver solid quality images while concurrently reading the MICR line magnetically.

Reading MICR magnetically is an important protection against fraud. However, the high quality images created by the CS 500 or CS 550 can easily be recognized using CAR/LAR (Character Amount Recognition/Legal Amount Recognition), reducing the need for key entry and allowing for automatic balancing. Dual pockets on the CS 550 allow for out-sorting checks by exception. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can cascade them to allow for uninterrupted batch operations.

The CS 500 comes complete with standard TWAIN drivers (ISIS is available) enabling it to be incorporated quickly with most document capture solutions. If needed, VisionShape's AutoScan Capture software can be used to easily capture checks and other small documents.
